SI Wave was created to provide local athletes an additional opportunity to improve their volleyball skills and make new friends while doing so. We feel players should have the opportunity to play the game they love and continue to improve without an overwhelming time or financial commitment. Our goal at SI Wave is to hone raw talent to maturity with quality coaching, intense drills, and a true love of the sport. Teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship - those are the hallmarks of SI Wave.
Tryouts for high school aged players (15s-18s) for the 2025-2026 Season will be held July 25-26, 2025. We will host open gyms leading up to tryouts to provide players/parents an opportunity to meet some of the coaches, players, and get a feel for practices.
Tryouts for middle school players for the 2023-2024 Season will be held October 24-25, 2025. Open gyms will be held leading up to these tryouts as well.
Our practices will most likely be held in either Nashville, Tamaroa, or Pinckneyville.
Tournaments will begin in December. Our regional teams will likely play thru March/mid-April. Our national teams could possibly play into June but will wrap up regular tournament play by early May.
Looking forward to the 2026 Season, we again anticipate at least 2 teams at each level from 13s-18s. We also plan to form 10s-12s teams based on interest.

We will continue of offer both regional and national opportunities. Regional (Red/White) teams will require limited travel to Cape Girardeau, Perryville, St. Louis/Metro East area, and southern Illinois. National (Black/Gray) teams may require additional travel to play in multi-day tournaments, but will be limited to a maximum 5-6 hour radius.
